Step back to the year 1743 and explore Fort Matanzas by torch and lantern light. Listen to and talk with the Spanish soldiers stationed at this fortified watchtower to defend the southern approach to St. Augustine. Experience a nighttime cannon firing as part of the evening. Each tour starts with a ferry ride to Fort Matanzas.

Space is limited for this special ticketed event! Tickets go on sale two weeks prior. Reserve your tickets by calling 904-829-6506, extension 239 or stop by the Castillo de San Marcos ticket booth. All reservation holders must check in at the Fort Matanzas Visitor Center 30 minutes prior to their reserved tour time to receive a ferry ticket.

Tours depart from the Fort Matanzas Center Visitor Center Dock at 6:00pm, 6:45pm, 7:30pm, and 8:15pm.
