Get your green on!!!  Don’t miss the only St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Northeast Florida! The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is an annual celebration of St. Augustine’s Celtic heritage and the Emerald Isle’s most revered saint. It follows a route throughout downtown and finishes at Francis Field in time for the beginning of the Celtic Music and Heritage Festival!

The parade route leaves Francis Field (Riberia Street and Orange Street) heading East on Orange Street, South onto Avenida Menendez, then West onto Cathedral Place. From there it proceeds North onto Cordova Street, turning West onto Orange Street where it will finish at Francis Field.

The Grand Marshall will be City of St. Augustine Archaeologist Carl Halbirt.  He’s been involved in 800 projects, with 150 of them involving excavation (digging in test pits) all over the city.  This year there will also be nearly 50 units; the Clans and athletes from the Highland Games, who are part of the festival, also will be marching and carrying their flags and banners.
