St. Augustine Colonial Night Watch Parade features re-enactors from St. Augustine’s colonial past. You could possibly see the St. Augustine Spanish Garrison, East Florida Rangers, the 60th Regiment of Foote, Native Americans, and others.
At 7:00PM, a Torchlight Parade will commence from the Castillo de San Marcos to the City Gates. At the City gates, the public is invited to fall in behind the re-enactors for a procession down St. George Street to the Government House where there will be a welcome speech by Mayor Nancy Shaver. The assembled units will fire a volley of joy to mark the beginning of the Christmas season. After the units are dismissed, join in a sing along of some old tyme Christmas carols to ring in the Holiday Season.
