Come on out to the Friends of Washington Oaks monthly plant sale held the second Saturday of each month! Plant sales feature a wonderful selection of flowers, plants, and bushes along with the unusual and hard to find plants for your home, patio, and garden. You may find Florida Natives among the selections on the plant benches. A portion of the plants were propagated and grown in the park and all the proceeds from the sale directly go back to benefit the park.

Plants must be very hardy to live in Florida’s coastal areas – able to endure sun, salt, sand, and surf! Strategies for gardening close to the ocean will be the topic of June’s Plant Chat at 11:00am. Salt tolerant plants will also be featured at this month’s sale.

Plant Bench volunteers now have their own dedicated phone line at the park. Please leave a voice message at 386-302-5590. Volunteers are not at the park daily. Please be patient as your call will be responded to as soon as possible.

Regular park entrance fee of $5 per vehicle, up to eight people; $4 per vehicle for single occupancy or $2 per person on bicycle applies.
