One of the most masterful voices in Country Music today, Gene Watson, will be in concert at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. He’s been thrilling audiences for more than 50 years, still singing in the same key as 30 years ago and continues to prove why he is rightly referred to as “The Singer’s Singer”.  His powerful voice and multi-octave range allows him to sing some of the most challenging songs with an ease that comes from pure, natural talent as well as from his many years performing onstage.

Watson’s tally of 75 charted titles, 23 Top 10 hits and six Number 1 records has led to membership in the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Radio listeners are still transfixed whenever classics like “Farewell Party”, “Fourteen Carat Mind”, or “Love in the Hot Afternoon” are played.  The depth of emotion in his singing, his brilliant phrasing, his jaw-dropping range and power in the lyrics he chooses are all factors in the awe he inspires in both fans and his musical peers.
