The First Friday Art Walk Recital at the Cathedral Basilica has been rescheduled for the following Friday, May 11th due to the other events occuring downtown at the same time.   The concert will feature Shannon McKay, the Principal Organist at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine.   A consummate musician and organist and sought-after accompanist for many St. Augustine Musical organizations, Ms. McKay will perform the “Modale Suite” of Flor Peeters, Josef Rheinberger’s “Sonata in A minor, Op. 98” and shorter works by Locklair, Boellmann and Gigout.  She’ll play the recital from the Choir Gallery using the resources of both the Casavant Pipe Organ and the Colby-Walker Organ.   There will be a free-will offering.
