Come out to the 5th Annual Commemoration of the Founding of Fort Mose in 1738, the first free community of ex-slaves called Gracia Real de Santa Teresa de Mose or Fort Mose (pronounced Moh-Say).

The event kicks off at 10:00am and includes re-enactors, weapons demonstrations, founding ceremonies, and fascinating lectures.
