In observance of Earth Day 2018, and in conjunction with its’ focus on diverting recyclable items away from the landfill, the City of St. Augustine Public Works Department is coordinating a Celebrating Earth Day Recycling Event. This one-day community recycle and education event on Wednesday, April 25, is free for residents. It takes place as a drive through service, on the north side of Francis Field.
Participants are encouraged to drop off outdated and broken “E-waste” (electronic devices) such as computers, printers, laptops, and cell phones. This is also the time to properly dispose of used cooking oil, such as vegetable oil, peanut oil, canola oil, etc. Click here for a full list of items to recycle.
