Historically clad interpreters will walk saunter down St. George Street and the historic area in St. Augustine in an effort to share its rich and diverse history. In a partnership with the St. Augustine Garrison and Historic Florida Militia, step back in time to explore St. Augustine’s rich heritage with a glimpse into British and Spanish military life. The day’s activities will include musket and cannon firing programs. Regular entrance fees apply.

The Castillo de San Marcos opens its' door to the community for Free during the Castillo Holiday Open House on December 8th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. This St. Augustine Holiday tradition allows visitors to informally explore the Castillo by lantern light, interacting with staff and volunteers dressed to represent the more than 300 years of Castillo history. Cannon firings will take place at 6:00pm (this one kicks off the annual Boat Regata), 7:00pm, and 8:00pm.
