Fireworks Over the Matanzas
Celebrate the 4th of July in the Nation's Oldest City at Fireworks Over the Matanzas, one of the largest fireworks displays on the East Coast. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, there are Historic Weapons Demonstration from the Northeast gun Deck at the Castillo. Rangers and volunteers demonstrate the weapons and relate the experiences of the colonial Spanish soldier of 1740s St. Augustine. Firing times are subject to change depending on weather conditions and staff availability. Usually they are: 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm Normal fee schedule applies.
