St. Johns County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Ancient City Game Fish Association, is hosting a Free Kids’ Fishing Clinic. The clinic will be held at St. Augustine Marina at the foot of Vilano Beach Fishing Pier on Saturday, March 17th.

The event is for children ages 12 and under. The first 200 kids will receive a free fishing pole and goodie bag as well as lunch provided by McDonald’s. Fishing awards and a raffle will take place at 11:30 am.

Registration begins at 7:30 am the day of event, and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
